Ingredients

  • 4–5 canned lychees drained and patted dry
  • 4–5 blueberries
  • ½ cup grape-flavour sparkling juice drink (grape juice, cranberry juice or apple & blackcurrant juice)
  • ½ cup ice cubes

Instructions

  • Make the eyeballs: Drain and rinse the lychees, then pat them dry. Gently stuff one blueberry into the centre of each lychee to form “eyeballs.”
  • Assemble the drink: Fill a clear glass halfway with ice cubes. Drop in the lychee “eyeballs,” then pour your chosen juice slowly over the top.
  • Garnish and serve: Give the drink a gentle stir. Add extra blueberries or a lychee on top for decoration. Serve cold with a straw and dimmed lights for full Halloween effect.

Notes

🩸 Colour Choices: Cranberry = bloody red; grape = haunted purple; pick your favourite.
🧊 Make-Ahead Magic: Make lychee “eyeballs” up to a day ahead and store in a sealed container in the fridge.
🍋 Flavour Upgrade: Add soda water for fizz or a splash of lime juice for a tangy twist.
🍸 Alcohol Version: Add vodka, white rum, or lychee liqueur for a spooky cocktail.
🎃 Presentation Idea: Serve in potion bottles, mason jars, or transparent cups with fake spiders or candy eyes for extra Halloween fun.
